ELST sent four volunteers to teach in the Nepali Capital Kathmandu in the summer of 2009. Kathmandu is situated at the geographic and cultural confluence of the Hindu and Tantric Buddhist faiths. The placements were located in the Boudhanath district which is the main centre for Tibetans within the city.
